Beyond the beautiful clothing worn & adorned
Beyond the bright smiles & striking eyes
Beyond the makeup brush & touch
Beyond the “normal” or “ideal image” viewers concieve & believe
Dwells another actually world.
Whilst this is a broad brush that can be painted to great lengths
A paint over invisible illness
A paint over certain individuals who are titled “stars”
A paint over someone for whom it appears & likewise assumed “she has it all going”
Picture perfect is a common delusion
I often observe that people look or see the lives of others thinking “she’s set” or “his built” ; wealth, beauty, intelligence, success, many things.
Whereas it’s important to know that NO person’s life is free from difficulties.
As long as we’re living in this fleeting abode, every person has to fall over the thorns.
Every person has their fair set of tests.
Each ones strength & capabilities differ, we’re therefore challenged accordingly.
In an era where every part of life revolves around news being fed to us via mainstream, social media & a capture with a camera, some hide the bad & only show the good. Some reveal their happiness & sadness.
Whether it’s right or wrong, that your soul will be able to gauge
I’m not here to judge anyone’s path as none would simply understand what’s it like walking mine’s
But remember;
Whether it be a phone, laptop, or TV,
There is always more behind those scenes than the eye meets
There are additional stories behind those screens
We are allowed to hear & see as desired selectively.
Despise your life not,
Embrace your lot.
A recipe to be safeguarded against having envy & animosity
Which is an evil enemy.
Utilize your individuality.
Be original, not a fake copy or someone following advertised “celebrities” unless it is a route of gloom a person seeks.
Break free from the chains of this jail
Follow the trails of those who sailed in wobbly vessels with frail bodies but remained truly happy with divine decrees.
(As I write this last sentence, I think of Ali Banaat – May the Almighty shower his choicest blessings upon his soul)
If it is thought, only amassing ample perishable possessions are the ingredients for contentment, then hearts are surely blinded by a misconception.
Alas.
How many feel sad
For all the bad?!
It pains me to see
People vying for a beguiled pollution
Drowning in the depths of a delusion
An outcome that ultimately will be, a miserably, pitiful situation.
We gotta live being alert
Knowing most of this world
Is disguised in stenching dirt.
Like a treacherous prey it lurks
A chase of baseless desires it stirs
Bound to cause meaningless hurt.
Don’t allow it to destroy your search
For a paradise that holds true worth.
Only when the tides forcefully surge
Adversity throws us on a desperate verge
Do forceful waves of realisation emerge
The trivial nature of this world
Is what remains on the finger after water spurts
Nothing! But a mere drop or 2 perched.
From the morals of my illnesses I discern
We float in empty bubbles not yet burst.
Respected readers I urge myself first;
To tread cautiously upon the earth
For our own benefit, take the difficult – beautiful turn
So that when our final footsteps & breaths, adjourn
A certificate of success in our right hands, may we earn.

You are talented mashaAllah. May Allah use this talent of yours for His sake. 💖 I admire your strength in the difficult situations you find yourself in.. I have a sickness that doctors cannot find a reason for although it is not as difficult as yours and some days, I just feel like I can’t take it anymore.. so mashaAllah to you for also being an inspiration to me and many others💖

*sigh* I know how frustrating that is. Having no answer’s & not knowing what to do can drive a person insane, or rather drove me at 1 stage 🙈, but only with the Almightys mercy that too held many purposes & he alone granted me strength to fight back harder & over again.
I do have my moments during extremely bad flares but alhamdulillah among many, quraan is the main source of comfort & relief. It’s amazing how that restlessness is just removed whilst the body & mind finds peace.
You’re an undiagnosed soldier!!! Those days are natural, don’t feel bad about them. Please know I’m always here if you’d like to chat privately or anything else for that matter where I can maybe, be of some support or assistance.
I will definitely keep you in my special list of prayers.

There were many times I wanted everything to just be over, but I’m so so glad it wasn’t, as well as the times I didn’t give up on myself when every Dr gave up on me. Insha-Allah many beautiful things lay ahead for you sister.
I appreciate your coming forward & sharing a little portion of your story. That alone takes courage & great strength Masha-Allah.
May you recieve much needed answers, may the Almighty always encloak you in his mercies, grant bag loads of sufficient strength to manage every challenge & hurdle that comes your way & may you be granted complete Aafiyah.

Subhan’Allah so true! We are quick to judge based on what we see which is wrong… This post is an eye opener and a tiny bit relatable (even though my circumstances has nothing to do with illness Alhamdulillah.) May Allaah increase you in strength and goodness spiritually, mentally & physically 💓🌹
