100 ~ No quick fix ~

I am a composite rare disease rationalist

And as I experiment the course of becoming a self deployed specialist

I hereby, attach my final message of closure with an appeal to the second cardiologist:

You presumed being trained onto a fitness level is a cause for improvement

Kindly note, that rule applies not! To people who are impaired by an autonomic opponent

A Dr prohibited me from carrying my lightweight oxygen bag & being a little independent. Yet here you are – a bemusement.

Then you subtlety jeered at my choice of garb

Appropriate ethic would’ve been to first ask

The mode of my dress code & scarf.

Once illness is ordained to afflict

Age is not a standard characteristic

Please research the correct statistics!

To determine a complex manifestation

And gauge the class of a prodrome

Assess me as a discrete human.

A pertinent issue I am compelled to vocalize

Because you “thought” it is simple to desensitize

May your skills be guided not to demoralize.

With faith & support i conquer this vicious cycle

God willing, one day… Someone will be sent as a miracle

Until then or if not, I pray & hope to be awarded a unique medal.

You might laugh now & consider me a lunatic to compose “such an absurd poem”

Nay! A time surely forebodes, when neurological principles will strike home

And grant you the ability to deduce an up-to-date opinion, so more do not have to roam

To conclude: Not for me, but the sake of each future patient

Pat that little ego down & analyse, so you do not remain ignorant

Or resort to disregard keypoints crucial to lives, we view important.

I implore you to kindly read these words with an open mind & let them sink in

Let every person from our network say aloud; we believe in miracle cures, we believe the minority of people who have healed (for the better), BUT there is no quick fix!

Don’t tell a girl with fire in her veins & hurricane bones what she should and shouldn’t do.

In the blink of an eye she will shatter that ridiculous cage you attempt to build around her beautiful bohemian spirit.

Melody Lee.

On the flip side:

To all fellow soldiers walking through hell / being suctioned beneath high tides

I share with you, by far, one of the best messages I stumbled across in this regard

YOU ARE HOPE IN A HUMAN BEING

(Even when you don’t feel as such or realise it)

I want you to remember this more than anything in the whole world :

No one who hurt you, who betrayed you, who has never apologized for the pain they have caused you is worth your mental health, a place in your heart or the taste of acid on your tongue when you speak their name.

What they deserve is erasure, being forgotten, being totally inconsequential whilst you pursue every hope & dream you have ever had in mind or in heart.

Take every single person who lessened your shine & bury their memory, without mercy under glow of everything that makes you who you are.

And who you are right now, in this moment, is a living, breathing example of how you can survive hell & still, still keep shining.

Nikita Gill

These words are truly written with ink from her veins because I can feel the adrenaline flowing through every phrase.

If you let it go, maybe something more beautiful will come along

– S. C Lourie

And always is the case, when 1 segment of faith in humanity is shattered

Another is sent forth to redevelop.

Alike the next afternoon;

I moved in slower motion than usual, finding my way around dealing & healing the aftermath

Then became topsy turvy from walking a few steps trying to arrange all my things chucked on showcase everywhere in the room.

Approximately 4:15pm the bell rang ๐Ÿ””

Aaah visitors

Who could it be???

On a day my mind is fogged & still somewhat disheveled

A wonderful surprise unraveled!!

Mom led the visitor in

I could’ve scram out of sheer shock & excitement

(Had someone been on standby to do CPR. LOL)

I barely knew her, neither did she know me.

I recalled seeing her once when I visited the institute we both studied at, & she recalls me seeing thrice.

At the first passing by I recalled her telling me, the socks I wore matched the cloak, LOL.

Other than that, we had no interaction..

Then we met at my grandaunts funeral a month ago.

She recognized me first -with- my veil, on my way outside claustrophobic in the after rush crowd..

She nudged my shoulder & called my name

I was surprised!!

Who bothers to greet people they don’t know or aren’t too fimilar with?! And in a funeral house where she could’ve acted as if she’d never seen me because I hadn’t seen her.

Greetings were exchanged for a minute, a handshake, a hug & ever since…

An unknown spark ignited.

A Wednesday that dissipated dismay

She walked in with an enchanting bouquet of roses ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒท๐Ÿ’

With a message that later stated:

“Those roses are to show you how much I care”

I was touched!!

And ready for the meeting scheduled with a highly respected Dr 4 hours later…….

“Thus, which of the favors of your lord can you (I) deny?”

I relate this only as a reminder:

Of a creator who pours endless love! He never disappoints us & 1 from among the ways his love is displayed, are by the people placed enroute.

Below are pictures of the roses taken the same evening;

Does it not represent the true people in our lives

Beautiful colors in different manners, they emit fragrances of different nature’s..

Forming the entire bunch, lovely beings created..

All perfect with their own imperfections –

The roses grow with firm, sharp thorns, but together opportune us the privelege of their admirable presence

Here are they, today:

The buds & petals ultimately wilt off leaving imprints of unforgettable delight & redolent reminiscence

A reflection of our existence

With the advancement of time, we bade farewell to roses who have traversed ahead from an ephemeral world, to prosper in eternal gardens.

May we reunify with them in paradise, as neighbour’s of roses joined to 1 bouquet ๐Ÿ’
