I don’t usually post “political news” on my social media feed or blog posts. However as a writer with a voice & our actual origin being one from Adam & Eve.
One reason for this post is to make the broader public aware of various points & exhort our communities to engage in more prayer for all..
Even for the killer because I personally see him being fear filled to such a point that he had to perpetrate such barbarism to even harmless children.
Afraid these kids might be dominant as they grow which reflected from his manifesto. The fear & incompetent part which is not justified but pointed out by a former white supremacist as well.
You don’t need to be Muslim or belong to a certain religion or nation to feel the tragedy. You only need to be a human who posseses a heart.

Our hearts quake
Our voices break
The ummah weeps
The pain strikes deep

Wars against religion and nations they generate
Inciting the rise of Islamaphobia
Distorting the truth on media
Attacking peaceful unarmed civilians is an act of terrorism
Cold-blooded murder is a liability, NOT an act of heroism
Bloodshed he endorsed
And displays no remorse
Driven by fear and hate
Prompting us to retaliate
Wretched is the one who goes on a rampage of gunshots
Mindless of the greatest controller above who also plots
Justice is sure to prevail
On behalf of all who’s hearts ail.
These chosen souls were a great number of influentials
Society benefitted from the roles they played as professionals
Alas! No crime have they done
A tragic end, but honorable one
The earth being too violent
For their souls so innocent
Thus, in the best place, exalted time and day
Heaven desiringly beckoned their stay
Oh valiant victims of New Zealand
Each of you will remain a historical legend
How was it for the dark skies
To witness your loved ones cries?!
The carpet, the ground, the walls will be a testament
To your martyrdom on the day of judgement
The mosques of Christ Church will testify
The manner in which you were made to die

May the Almighty comfort your distraught hearts
May he mend the pieces of you, shattered in parts
Oh masses! Do not be deceived by Islamaphobe propoganda
Behind mainstream news channels are conspiracies and agendas
Many deluded people living here
Applauded the coward with a cheer

Who salute his intents.
Alongside condemnation
It is also a point of reflection
Oh believers! How concerned are we with the affairs of our brethren?
Are we fulfilling our part in treating them as humans and rightful citizens?
Leaders of countries are designated positions
And placed in accordance to our actions
Hence, we are responsible to make the world a better place
For all of mankind irrespective of region, religion or race
Living in South Africa is not an assurance of being safe
So engage in forgiveness for our errors and build the faith
The ummah is one body
Embrace the diversity
Lets work to lessen the despair
And ease the suffering out there
Continue the different acts of charities
For it is deterrent against future calamities

(Also I am not one in position to speak, but I saw an Australian Imaam encouraging all mosques to reinforce themselves by deploying security backups at their entrances and surroundings…
I strongly feel the same, moreso after reading wicked comments on a South African news link where some racist white supremacists agree with the massacre & are ready to even follow.
Actually not surprising and quite expected. But also rings bells in one’s mind to think how one pulls the stant and that in turn gives others more ideas to follow suit.
However, we fear not! For the Almighty is with us

Screenshots of those comments would’ve been posted but loadshedding happened to occur the same time and I lost the chain of comments. It was somewhere on Facebook. Not sure if it got reported and removed afterwards.
May the Almighty keep our towns, cities and countries in his complete protection
